As part of the new oblate peer mentor program at New Camaldoli Hermitage, Fr. Stephen Coffey and I will be leading the first of three formation retreats for Camaldolese oblates, whether in the postulant stage or beyond. Our first topic is the Camaldolese charism, also known as the “Three-Fold Good.” Retreatants are urged to bring with them a copy of The Privilege of Love and the Rule of St. Benedict. These day-long retreats will be held at the Monastery of the Risen Christ in San Luis Obispo, California.
