Paula Huston lives with her husband on four acres on the central coast of California, where they grow fruits and vegetables, press their own olives, and keep chickens and bees. A Camaldolese Benedictine oblate, Huston spends her time gardening, cooking, writing, and learning fascinating new things from her middle-school and high-school-aged grandkids.
